Breaking News: Browns Bolster Defense by Adding Key Cornerback to Active Roster

The Cleveland Browns have promoted CB Tony Brown II from the practice squad to the active roster. They also added G Javion Cohen, DT Sam Kamara, and TE Blake Whiteheart to the practice squad.

Brown (6-0, 200) is in his seventh NFL season, having played college football at Alabama. He initially joined the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and has since played in 64 games for the Packers (2018-19), Bengals (2020-21), Colts (2022-23), and Browns (2024). Throughout his career, he has tallied 58 tackles, one interception, and 20 special teams tackles. This season, he has participated in three games, recording three special teams tackles and forcing one fumble. Brown will wear jersey No. 38.

Cohen, an undrafted rookie, has played in one game this season and will wear No. 67.

Kamara has appeared in four games this season, registering three tackles, and will wear No. 92.

Whiteheart has also played in four games, making three receptions for 13 yards and one touchdown. He will wear No. 86.
