Breaking: Ravens Hit with Tough Injury Update Ahead of Divisional Round Showdown with Bills

The Baltimore Ravens are just days away from their critical Divisional Round clash against the Buffalo Bills, with the winner advancing to the AFC Championship Game to face either the Kansas City Chiefs or Houston Texans. The Ravens are coming off a 28-14 victory over their rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, during Wild Card Weekend. Now, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens face Josh Allen and the Bills, where they enter as slight underdogs. Last weekend, the Ravens relied heavily on star running back Derrick Henry, especially in the absence of wide receiver Zay Flowers, who was sidelined with a knee injury sustained in Week 18 against the Cleveland Browns.

Flowers missed practice on Wednesday due to the knee injury. While Ravens head coach John Harbaugh clarified that the injury isn’t season-ending, there’s uncertainty about whether Flowers will return in time for Sunday’s game against the Bills. According to Jamison Hensley, Flowers missed his second consecutive practice on Thursday, meaning he has yet to participate in team activities since the injury occurred.

“Pro Bowl WR Zay Flowers is the only Ravens player not practicing Thursday,” Hensley reported. “Flowers hasn’t practiced since injuring his knee in the regular season finale 12 days ago. Ravens play at Bills in a divisional round game Sunday.”

With Flowers, who led the team with 1,000 receiving yards this season, increasingly unlikely to play, the Ravens now face a significant challenge in Buffalo without their top receiver. While Baltimore would have hoped to get Flowers back onto the field this week, his status remains uncertain as the game approaches.
