The Miami Dolphins have announced the release of tackle Anderson Hardy from their practice squad.
Hardy began his NFL journey as an undrafted free agent in 2023, initially joining the Kansas City Chiefs, where he participated in part of the offseason program and training camp. He then spent the 2024 offseason and training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers before being signed to Miami’s practice squad on August 30.
During his college career at Appalachian State from 2018 to 2022, Hardy played in 44 games and started 29 of them at left tackle. His strong performance in his final season earned him first-team All-Sun Belt honors in 2022, highlighting his potential as a valuable player on the offensive line. Despite these achievements, Hardy’s time with the Dolphins has come to an end as the team continues to refine its roster.
