Just In: USC Trojans Secure Commitment From Promising Talent

The USC Trojans have quickly secured the commitment of offensive tackle Aaron Dunn, who previously committed to the University of Utah. Standing at 6 feet 8 inches and weighing 290 pounds, Dunn is a significant addition for the team.

USC was among Dunn’s top choices, but he initially opted for Utah a few months ago. However, he announced his decommitment from Utah yesterday and confirmed his commitment to USC within 24 hours.

Aaron Dunn, Spanish Fork, Offensive Tackle

Dunn becomes the fourth offensive lineman in USC’s 2025 recruiting class, joining Carde Smith (6’6.5, 295 lbs), Willi Wascher (6’3, 302 lbs), and Elijah Vaikona (6’8, 370 lbs). He is also the second recruit from Utah, alongside five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.

Ranked as the 18th-best offensive tackle in the nation and the second-best player from Utah, Dunn is a key addition to USC’s roster. Reports suggest he was prepared to commit to USC the night before his announcement, indicating ongoing communication with offensive line coach Josh Henson.

This commitment is a significant victory for Henson and enhances an already strong 2025 recruiting class. It’s expected that Riley and Henson will continue to seek one more offensive lineman. Dunn will have the chance to grow within the program and may compete for immediate playing time given the current state of the tackle position.
