“Feeling incredibly blessed and honored to receive my 20th Division 1 offer from USC. God bless USC,” Haastrup posted on Twitter, tagging the Trojans’ coaching staff.

This offer is the latest addition to Haastrup’s growing list, which now includes 20 offers from top programs across the country such as Florida State, LSU, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. Despite his recent switch to football, Haastrup has quickly made an impact since his debut in a game just a month ago.

Rated as the No. 276 overall prospect and No. 21 edge rusher nationally by 247Sports Composite rankings, Haastrup, who stands 6-4 and weighs 235 pounds, has impressed with his athleticism. He runs a 10.71 in the 100-meter dash and has a shot put distance of over 52 feet. Originally from London, Haastrup focused on soccer and track before turning to football in his senior year of high school. He has rapidly excelled in the sport, recording nine sacks and eight tackles for loss in his first three games.

Haastrup’s remarkable speed, size, and potential make him a standout prospect. Though he is still learning the game, his athletic tools are among the best in the nation. According to Greg Powers of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, “This kid’s athleticism is unreal,” and college scouts are paying close attention.

USC, already strong in the 2025 recruiting class, could add Haastrup if defensive line coach Eric Henderson makes a strong impression.
