While both Miami and Florida have been strong recruiters lately, the Gators could particularly have benefited from Jennings’ commitment. Although Miami boasts a top-10 class, Florida is currently ranked 59th by 247 Sports. Unfortunately for these Florida schools, Jennings opted to join Michigan.

Jennings’ commitment provides a boost to Michigan’s recruiting efforts. The 2025 class for Michigan is now ranked 13th nationally and has been fluctuating around the 10-15 range in recent weeks. The Wolverines are hopeful that additional recruits will help secure a top-10 finish.

Jennings, who is ranked as the #271 player in the 2025 class, #24 cornerback, and #49 player in Florida, currently attends Mandarin High School in Jacksonville. His decision to choose Michigan over Florida schools is a significant win for the Wolverines, highlighting their competitive edge in recruiting against southern programs.

This 2025 Michigan class is shaping up to be very strong.
