The Dallas Mavericks will be short-handed for their upcoming game against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. Regarding Hardy’s injury, Kidd had no new updates, saying, “He’s out. He’s got a sprained ankle. Until I’m given more details, he’s out.”

Meanwhile, PJ Washington returned to practice on Friday after missing Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, which ended in a 118-104 loss for the Mavericks. Washington is not listed on the injury report for Sunday’s game, meaning he is expected to be available unless any setbacks occur.

The Mavericks are eager to rebound from their loss to the Thunder. Although they’ve played several road games recently, Dallas will soon embark on a four-game home stand. After Sunday’s game against the Warriors, the Mavs will face the Los Angeles Clippers at home on Thursday and next Saturday. They will also host the Portland Trail Blazers on December 23 and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Christmas Day.

Dallas is hoping to have more players available for this crucial home stretch, though the return dates for Marshall, Kleber, and Hardy remain uncertain.
