The Arizona Cardinals made a late adjustment to their injury report ahead of Week 15’s matchup against the New England Patriots, listing starting right tackle Jonah Williams as questionable due to an illness.
Williams, a major offseason acquisition for Arizona on a two-year, $30 million deal, has appeared in just four games this season. He suffered a knee injury in Week 1 that sidelined him until after the Cardinals’ bye week. If Williams is unable to play, veteran Kelvin Beachum will step in as his replacement. Beachum previously filled in at right tackle during Williams’ absence, earning praise for his steady performance and even sparking debate among fans about whether he should remain the starter.
The Cardinals are also monitoring other injuries, with defensive linemen Naquan Jones (shoulder) and Roy Lopez (ankle) listed as questionable. Meanwhile, Emari Demercado (back), Blake Gillikin (foot), and Elijah Jones (ankle) have already been ruled out.
Arizona, currently on a three-game losing streak since the bye, aims to revive its postseason chances with a win against the 3-10 Patriots. Inactives will be announced 90 minutes before the 2:25 PM MST kickoff, which will confirm Williams’ status.
