Michigan football enters its in-state rivalry showdown against Michigan State with a 4-3 record, having lost its last two games. Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore addressed the media to provide updates on key areas of the team, including the quarterback situation, injuries, and the development of young defensive players.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Regarding the starting quarterback for the upcoming game, Moore remained noncommittal, stating, “We’ll see as we practice this week.” This uncertainty leaves the starting QB position open as the Wolverines prepare for the Spartans.

Moore also discussed tight end Marlin Klein, who left the Illinois game with an injury. He expressed optimism about Klein’s recovery, mentioning that he could return to practice soon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reflecting on the recent loss to Illinois, Moore pointed to offensive execution and turnovers as significant areas of concern. “We can’t turn the football over,” he emphasized. “If you don’t turn the football over, you’re going to win the game.”
