Tyler Steen replaced Becton at right guard, leaving only three starters remaining on the offensive line. Fred Johnson took over at left tackle after the team announced that Jordan Mailata had been placed on injured reserve prior to Week 7. Mailata is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks, and with Becton’s exit, the line is now even thinner.

The Eagles’ offense struggled significantly against the Giants, failing to find the end zone until well into the second quarter. Jalen Hurts faced a tough game, getting sacked three times and losing a total of 28 yards, which disrupted several offensive drives. With Becton now unavailable, the challenges for Hurts are expected to increase, raising concerns about the depth and resilience of the offensive line. The team hopes that no further injuries will impact their already weakened line as they look to improve their performance moving forward.
