Breaking News: 76ers Make Four Roster Cuts After Recent Preseason Game, Parting Ways with Potential Players

The Philadelphia 76ers made four roster cuts following their recent preseason game, waiving Jordan Tucker, Isaiah Mobley, Judah Mintz, and Max Fiedler, as reported by Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. All four players were on Exhibit 10 contracts, which means they are likely to join the team’s G League affiliate in Delaware. If they stay there for at least 60 days, they could earn bonuses of up to $77.5K.

Tucker and Mobley signed with the Sixers in late September, just before training camp began. Tucker played in the LNB Pro A League in France last season and has experience in both the G League and international play after going undrafted from Butler in 2020. Mobley, the younger brother of Cleveland Cavaliers star Evan Mobley, had spent the past two seasons on two-way contracts with the Cavaliers.

Mintz, a former standout guard at Syracuse, signed his Exhibit 10 contract in early September, while Fielder, a rookie center from Rice, joined the team in late August.

With these cuts, Philadelphia’s roster now stands at 17 players as they approach the upcoming roster deadline. The team has 13 players with fully guaranteed contracts, in addition to Ricky Council, whose $1.9 million salary for this season and $2.2 million for 2025/26 are both non-guaranteed.

While there is still time for the Sixers to make further adjustments, it seems likely that the roster is nearing finalization as they prepare for their opener against Milwaukee on September 23.
