**SALT LAKE CITY**—Isaiah Collier exited the Utah Jazz’s fourth preseason game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a right hamstring injury.
The strain occurred in the second quarter after he had played for nine minutes, and he was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game.
In related news, Keyonte George did not play against the Spurs due to a left knee injury.
Collier started in place of George and made an impact on both ends of the court, showcasing his skills with steals and impressive passing. He notably intercepted a pass to halt a Spurs fast break and assisted second-year forward Taylor Hendricks for an easy dunk.
During his first career start, Collier recorded two points, two assists, and four turnovers. In his three appearances prior to the injury, he averaged 4.7 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.3 steals in 19 minutes per game.
The USC product is currently shooting 21 percent from the field and 20 percent from three-point range while averaging three turnovers per game in his early NBA career. He previously missed four weeks during his only college season at USC due to a right-hand injury.
