**Four-Star 2027 Oklahoma Commit Zane Rowe Stays Committed: ‘I Love the Coaches and the OU Family’**
Class of 2027 commit Zane Rowe remains steadfast in his commitment to Oklahoma football, showcasing his dedication to the program and his team.
Denton Guyer High School, where Rowe plays, has started the season strong with a 3-1 record, signaling another promising year for the proud Texas program. As a key player for the Wildcats, Rowe demonstrates remarkable leadership and maturity, often performing beyond his years. He acknowledges that while the team has had early success, there’s still room for improvement as they aim for a deep playoff run.
“We still have a lot of things to fix,” Rowe stated. “Offsides penalties, personal fouls—we’re shooting ourselves in the foot. But when we clean those mistakes up, we could be winning by 60 or 70 points. Wins are wins, but I know we can be even better.”
Rowe has also been focusing on his personal development, putting in significant effort to elevate his game. “I’m proud of my transitional rush,” he noted. “Transitioning from defending the run in a three-man front to rushing the passer off the edge is something I really take pride in. I know I need to stop the run first, and then I get to switch gears to rush the passer, especially against RPO offenses.”
Having committed to Oklahoma early in the recruiting process, Rowe has shown unwavering loyalty to the program. He has attended several home games at OU, immersing himself in the atmosphere and building connections within the team.
“I love the coaches and the OU family,” Rowe expressed, emphasizing the strong bond he feels with the program. As Rowe continues to excel on the field and strengthen his commitment to Oklahoma, he remains focused on both his personal growth and contributing to his high school team’s success.
