On Monday, the Sixers announced the signing of forwards Isaiah Mobley and Jordan Tucker to Exhibit 10 contracts.
Mobley, 25, was previously on a two-way deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers and is the older brother of Cavs center Evan Mobley. The 6-foot-8, 235-pound forward played only 10 games with Cleveland last season, spending most of his time with the Cleveland Charge in the G League. During 23 games with the Charge, he averaged 17.1 points per game with shooting splits of 48.6% from the field, 39.0% from three, and 61.9% from the free-throw line, along with 8.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 30.8 minutes per game.
Tucker, 26, has participated in the Sixers’ summer league teams for the past two seasons. Standing at 6-foot-7, he has a strong shooting ability from beyond the arc, hitting 56.3% from three during both summer leagues this year. The Butler alumnus has yet to play in an NBA game and has only appeared in four G League games.
It’s important to note that an Exhibit 10 deal serves as a training camp invitation, offering a financial incentive for players to join the team’s G League affiliate. Therefore, Mobley and Tucker are expected to serve as camp participants before spending the season with the Delaware Blue Coats.
Additionally, the Sixers have signed Judah Mintz, Max Fiedler, and Jared Brownridge to Exhibit 10 deals. Mintz and Fiedler also played for the Sixers’ summer league teams in Salt Lake and Vegas, while Brownridge is recognized as one of the top players in Blue Coats history and among the best three-point shooters in G League history.
The Sixers’ media day is set for Monday, after which the team will travel to the Bahamas for training camp. Their first preseason game will be on October 7 against the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL, who are touring the U.S. and facing NBA teams.
