**DETROIT—The Seahawks will be missing five key defensive players for their matchup against the Lions on Monday night.**
Before departing for Detroit, the Seahawks officially ruled out outside linebackers Boye Mafe and Uchenna Nwosu, as well as defensive linemen Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy II. Additionally, starting linebacker Jerome Baker, who was listed as questionable on Saturday’s injury report, will also be unavailable.
In light of these absences, the Seahawks have elevated outside linebacker Tyus Bowser and defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna from the practice squad, both of whom will be active for the game. The team will rely on Dre’Mont Jones and Derick Hall to step up at outside linebacker in the absence of Mafe and Nwosu, with contributions from Bowser and Trevis Gipson. On the defensive line, Jarran Reed, Johnathan Hankins, Mike Morris, and Myles Adams will take the lead without Williams and Murphy.
On a positive note, running back Kenneth Walker III has returned after missing the last two games due to an oblique injury.
The Lions will also be without safety Brian Branch and Pro-Bowl center Frank Ragnow.
