The USC Trojans are maintaining their impressive recruiting momentum with another significant addition. Coach Henny and Coach Nua have secured a commitment from 4-star 2026 defensive lineman Viliami Moala.
Moala visited USC over the weekend, during a notably successful recruiting period for the Trojans.
Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 310 pounds, Moala is a prototypical nose tackle known for his physicality and powerful bull rush. He also exhibits impressive hand quickness and the ability to handle multiple blockers. Additionally, Moala plays offensive line in high school, highlighting his versatility.

According to 247 Sports, with Shaun Nua being Moala’s lead recruiter, it’s clear the Trojans are eyeing him as a future nose tackle.
Moala has stated that his recruitment is officially closed. Although the 2026 season is still a few years away, his commitment is a positive sign of the current coaching staff’s influence and the defense’s early success.
With Moala’s commitment, the USC Trojans’ 2026 class now boasts six commitments and is ranked 4th nationally, according to 247 Sports.
