Jerome Myles, a highly-rated four-star wide receiver from Draper, Utah, is expected to announce his college decision on October 30. After de-committing from Ole Miss due to concerns over the program’s transfer portal activity and perceived changes in the coaching staff’s behavior, Myles has narrowed his choices to Utah, USC, Ohio State, and Georgia.
In recent weeks, both Utah and USC have made significant strides in appealing to Myles. He is interested in playing close to home and values strong coaching relationships and a winning environment.
“I really want to play in front of my family,” Myles stated. “I want them to have the chance to come watch me.”
According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, Utah holds a commanding 94 percent chance of landing Myles, while USC is trailing with only a 1.4 percent chance.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior has already visited Texas A&M and will be attending USC’s game against Utah State this Saturday. He is also scheduled to visit Georgia and Ohio State in the near future. He was present at the Notre Dame vs. Texas A&M game as well.
Myles’ decision is highly anticipated by college football enthusiasts, as he is regarded as one of the top wide receiver prospects for the 2025 class. He ranks 8th nationally by On3’s industry ranking, and is listed as high as 5th by ESPN and 247 Sports.
This season, Myles has recorded 9 receptions for 246 yards and four touchdowns in just two games, according to MaxPreps.
