Feaster, a high-profile recruit, is among several prospects attending the Sooners’ Week 2 matchup. Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 180 pounds, Feaster is ranked the No. 8 prospect nationally and the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2027 class by 247Sports.
Playing for DeSoto, one of Texas’s top teams, Feaster made a significant impact as a freshman. He earned MaxPreps Freshman All-American honors and contributed to DeSoto’s second consecutive state title in 2023 with 32 receptions for 634 yards and nine touchdowns.
Feaster shares the field with 4-star SMU wide receiver commit Daylon Singleton, who, being two years older, had more targets in the 2023 season.
This visit to Norman won’t be Feaster’s first experience with the Sooners; he previously attended their “Future Freaks” event in the spring and their annual football camp last summer.
The Sooners, led by Emmett Jones, are in a strong position with Feaster, who has narrowed down his list of over 40 offers to 18 finalists. Alongside Oklahoma, his top choices include Nebraska, Mississippi, TCU, Texas Tech, Penn State, USC, Tennessee, Colorado, Texas A&M, Miami, Texas, SMU, Michigan, Georgia, Oregon, LSU, and Baylor.
One of the top overall prospects in the class of 2027, WR Boobie Feaster, has trimmed down his recruitment of 40+ offers to a top-18!
Feaster, 6-foot-2, 180-pounds will take visits to LSU, Texas, Oregon, Nebraska, and Baylor this fall.

Currently, Oklahoma has one commitment in the 2027 class from 4-star edge rusher Zane Rowe from Denton Guyer, TX. Rowe, like Feaster, is a Dallas-area talent and a MaxPreps Freshman All-American.
Despite Oklahoma’s progress in Feaster’s recruitment, they face strong competition from other top programs for his commitment.
