On Friday, the Seattle Seahawks continued their preparations for the regular season opener against the Denver Broncos by making several adjustments to their roster, particularly on the practice squad.
The key move involved adding linebacker Tyus Bowser, who has spent his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens but has struggled with injuries, missing 25 games over the past two seasons. Also joining the practice squad is Faion Hicks, a 2022 seventh-round draft pick by the Broncos who has played only 30 special teams snaps in his NFL career.

To accommodate Hicks and Bowser, the Seahawks released tackle Garret Greenfield, who was initially waived during roster cuts but had been re-signed to the practice squad. Additionally, tight end Jack Westover was released from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
