1. Kelly Oubre Jr.
Philadelphia’s decision to re-sign Kelly Oubre Jr. to a modest two-year, $16.37 million contract was a savvy move in free agency. Oubre, who became a key player last season, may face challenges if he cannot maintain his role as a key scorer and defender. If his performance declines or if the 76ers seek a defensive upgrade, he could be traded. His affordable contract and skill set might attract playoff-bound teams.
2. Eric Gordon
Signing Eric Gordon to a one-year minimum deal was a low-risk move for the 76ers. However, Gordon, now 35, is a shadow of his former self, offering little beyond three-point shooting.
