BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Former Hilltopper and most recently Ole Miss Rebel, Jamarion Sharp, has inked a one-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
On Friday, Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and the NBA on TNT reported that Sharp will be joining the Dallas Mavericks. Despite going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, Sharp played in the summer league with the Mavericks, where he made a significant impact by recording 13 blocked shots and dominating in the paint.

Sharp spent two seasons at WKU before transferring to Ole Miss for his final collegiate year. Throughout his college career, he averaged 6.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks per game. He led college basketball in blocks twice and was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year during both of his years at WKU.
The contract with the Mavericks is expected to be a training camp deal, primarily to secure his rights for the G-League, as the Mavericks have already filled their main roster and two-way spots for the upcoming season.
