After parting ways with longtime head coach Mike Vrabel and allowing superstar running back Derrick Henry to leave in NFL free agency, the Tennessee Titans were initially perceived as entering a rebuilding phase, with young quarterback Will Levis at the helm.
However, the Titans made several offseason moves that suggested a different direction. They signed running back Tony Pollard to replace Henry and added Calvin Ridley to their receiving corps while also re-signing DeAndre Hopkins, who many believed was heading elsewhere.
These additions gave Tennessee the potential to become a high-powered offense, especially if Levis continues to develop.
Unfortunately, that plan hit a snag when Hopkins sustained a knee injury during training camp. According to Titans insider Paul Kuharsky, Hopkins will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks due to a knee strain, as reported by The Draft Network.

This timeline doesn’t look promising for the start of the season in early September.
During the 2023 NFL season, Hopkins played in all 17 regular-season games, recording 75 receptions for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns, marking his best season in recent years.
The Titans are hopeful that Hopkins can recover quickly and return to the field soon, providing a boost to their receiving corps alongside Ridley.
