As the summer AAU season wraps up, the Duke basketball program is ramping up its recruiting efforts, turning its focus to future prospects. Recently, Duke made the Top-8 list for 2025 recruit Acaden Lewis, alongside Auburn, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, and UConn.
Additionally, Duke has secured a spot in the Top 10 for 2025 four-star guard Braylon Mullins. Mullins revealed his list of top schools on social media, which includes Indiana, Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee, Purdue, North Carolina, UConn, Kentucky, and Kansas.
Mullins, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Greenfield-Central (Ind.), is ranked as the No. 73 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite and No. 23 by 247Sports. He has planned official visits to UConn, Michigan, North Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee, and Kentucky, starting on August 1.

While Alabama, Duke, Kansas, and Purdue have not yet scheduled official visits, Mullins is reportedly arranging a trip to Kansas and a potential visit to Durham. The Blue Devils extended an offer to Mullins on July 14 after observing him on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.
Mullins has not elaborated much on Duke’s recruitment efforts but has mentioned his desire to find a college with a fitting system, supportive coaches, and a positive community. ESPN’s Paul Biancardi praised him as “one of the best shot makers in the country.”
Despite extending 13 offers to Class of 2025 recruits, Duke has yet to secure a commitment from this class.
