In the 2023 season, Oakman achieved six sacks, 27 tackles, and a forced fumble over 15 games, contributing to the defense that led the Argonauts to a 16-2 record. However, he was placed on the one-game injured list before the Argos’ 2024 season opener, a 35-27 win against the BC Lions.
The Elks are currently on a bye week and will return to action on Sunday, July 14, when they host the Ottawa REDBLACKS.
