On Sunday, the start of NBA free agency, former Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond hinted on social media about his move to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Following this, Shams Charania of The Athletic confirmed that Drummond has signed a two-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.

During his two seasons with the Chicago Bulls, Drummond served as a reserve center, providing efficient scoring and rebounding as the backup to Nikola Vucevic. His per-36-minutes averages were impressive, with 17.4 points and 18.9 rebounds per game.

Drummond’s departure from the Bulls was anticipated, given the reports of a robust market for his services leading up to the 2024 NBA trade deadline. Several franchises had shown interest in acquiring Drummond as a free agent during the 2024 NBA offseason.
