Former Arizona State wide receiver Elijhah Badger has committed to Florida. According to the On3 Transfer Portal Industry Rankings, Badger is rated as a four-star receiver. His final choices included Arizona and Washington.
During his time with the Sun Devils, Badger accumulated 1,640 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, playing in 35 games over four seasons. His experience will be valuable for the Gators, who recently lost last season’s leading wideout, Ricky Pearsall, to the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Badger, a member of the 2020 class from Folsom High School in Sacramento, California, was highly regarded as a four-star recruit by most sites. In high school, he was pursued by schools like Wisconsin, Washington State, and Utah, and received offers from Power 4 programs including Texas A&M, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon, Nebraska, Colorado, USC, Oregon State, Kansas State, and Duke.
Additionally, the Gators have secured former Wisconsin receiver Chimere Dike through the transfer portal. Head coach Billy Napier will be aiming for his first winning season at Florida in 2024.
