Alabama Four-Star Defensive Lineman Enters the NCAA Transfer Portal

Alabama football experiences its first player to enter the NCAA transfer portal following spring practice.

Khurtiss Perry, a former highly-rated defensive lineman hailing from Pike Road, Alabama, is set to depart. The news was initially reported by Matt Zenitz of 247Sports on social media. Perry emerged as one of the standout linemen in the 2022 recruiting class due to his explosive skills. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 265 pounds, he was regarded as a top-tier prospect within the state, boasting impressive statistics during his senior year at Pike Road High School in 2021, including 76 tackles, 22 sacks, 30 quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble.

Perry opted to join Alabama over other notable programs such as Auburn, Texas, and Clemson. He redshirted his first year as a freshman. In his tenure with the Crimson Tide, he contributed to their success, helping the team secure a Southeastern Conference Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff in 2023.
