According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Mason Rudolph, who served as quarterback for Oklahoma State between 2014 and 2017, has inked a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans. This deal could earn him up to $3.62 million.
Rudolph had been part of the Pittsburgh Steelers since they drafted him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He stepped in as the starting quarterback towards the end of the 2023 season when Kenny Pickett got injured and former starter Mitch Trubisky was benched. During this time, Pittsburgh won their final three regular-season games, securing a playoff spot as the No. 7 seed.
In the 2023 regular season, Rudolph completed 55 of 74 passes for 719 yards, scoring three touchdowns with no interceptions. He also had a single postseason start against Buffalo, where he went 22 for 39, accumulating 229 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.
Across his career spanning 21 games with 13 starts, Rudolph has a completion rate of 63.5%, throwing for 3,085 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He holds an 8-4-1 record as a starter.
Before his NFL career, Rudolph played 41 games for Oklahoma State, where he completed 63.1% of his passes, amassing over 13,000 yards and 90 touchdowns.
Now in Tennessee, Rudolph is anticipated to vie for the starting position against former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis and 2022 draft pick Malik Willis from Liberty University.
