GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull provided insight into Rosas’ injury, explaining that he was substituted out of the game during the third quarter due to the hamstring incident. Further evaluation revealed the extent of the injury, indicating a substantial setback for Rosas. While surgery is not deemed necessary, an eight-week recovery period is expected.

On a positive note, key defender Sandy Brock has received clearance to resume playing after fracturing his forearm in a VFL match. Additionally, Jy Farrar (thumb) and Lloyd Johnston (hamstring) are both expected to return to action within one week.
