Former NSW Blues captain Paul Gallen expressed confusion over Lomax’s desire to leave, considering his current form puts him in contention for the State of Origin team. However, if he remains in the centers, his chances could be diminished. Gallen suggested that Lomax would have a better chance of selection if he played on the wing.
