Todd Fitch is set to make a move to Baton Rouge. Fitch, previously serving as a senior advisor and offensive analyst for Ohio State since January 2021, is departing from the Buckeyes to take on the role of senior offensive analyst at LSU, as reported by NOLA.com’s Wilson Alexander.
Hailing from Ohio, Fitch brings with him a wealth of coaching experience, spanning 37 years in college football coaching. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including position coach, analyst, and offensive coordinator since 1986. Notably, Fitch has a history with Ryan Day, having worked alongside him at Ohio State and Boston College. At Ohio State, he primarily worked with the quarterbacks for three seasons, garnering praise from players like C.J. Stroud, who credited Fitch for his development during his time at Ohio State.

Fitch’s departure marks the second analyst to leave Ohio State during this offseason, following the departure of Joe Philbin, who joined the Las Vegas Raiders. Conversely, the Buckeyes welcomed former Penn State wide receiver Tony Johnson as a senior analyst in February, adding to their coaching staff.
