The 2024 football schedule for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish has been officially announced by the university on Thursday.
Kicking off the season, Notre Dame will hit the road to face the Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas on Saturday, August 31st.
The following week, on Saturday, September 7th, the Fighting Irish will make their home debut at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, hosting the Northern Illinois Huskies.
Afterward, Notre Dame will venture back on the road to clash with the Purdue Boilermakers on September 14th before returning home for consecutive matchups against the Miami RedHawks on September 21st and the Louisville Cardinals on September 28th. A bye week follows on October 5th.
On October 12th, the Stanford Cardinal will visit South Bend, with Stanford transitioning to the ACC after leaving the Pac-12.
Subsequently, Notre Dame will engage in back-to-back neutral-site contests, facing the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on October 19th, followed by a clash with the Navy Midshipmen on October 26th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Another bye week awaits on November 2nd before the Fighting Irish host two consecutive ACC opponents in South Bend, with the Florida State Seminoles arriving on November 9th and the Virginia Cavaliers on November 16th.
The Shamrock Series game will see Notre Dame taking on the Army Black Knights at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York on November 23rd.
Wrapping up the regular season, Notre Dame will travel to Los Angeles, California for a showdown with the USC Trojans on November 30th.
The 2024 season marks the third year under head coach Marcus Freeman’s leadership, who currently holds an 18-8 overall record with the school.
