Notre Dame is poised to secure a groundbreaking agreement with a promising quarterback prospect ahead of the 2026 season.

Brady Hart came from a baseball background; his father, Alex, was an All-American pitcher for the Florida Gators. However, Hart’s passion lay in playing quarterback. Recognizing his potential, Baylin Trujillo, a quarterback trainer based in Florida, advised him to focus solely on football after just one session together.

Determined to excel, Hart committed to rigorous training sessions with Trujillo, making a significant 90-minute commute three to four times a week. Trujillo, pushing him hard at times, saw Hart’s unwavering dedication, supported by his father.

Hart’s decision to transfer from Melbourne High School to Cocoa High School marked a pivotal moment in his development, according to Trujillo. With relentless hard work, Hart evolved into an elite player, distinguishing himself, especially in his ability to run the ball with impressive speed and athleticism.

His standout performances against formidable opponents, such as throwing for 500 yards and five touchdowns against powerhouse teams like St. Thomas Aquinas, set him apart in his class. Notably, Hart led Cocoa High School to back-to-back state titles, achieving remarkable statistics along the way.

With offers pouring in, Notre Dame’s offer in December was particularly thrilling for Hart and Trujillo, signifying recognition from a prestigious program. Through Hart and another prospect, Noah Grubbs, Trujillo has established a strong relationship with Notre Dame’s quarterbacks coach, Gino Guidugli, praising his laid-back demeanor and genuine personality.
