Dont’a Hightower returns to New England as the Patriots’ latest addition to their coaching staff, announced by his representation on social media.
He will be working alongside defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington, defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery, cornerbacks coach Mike Pellegrino and safeties coach Brian Belichick.
Hightower, who played linebacker for the Patriots from 2012 to 2021, boasts an impressive resume, having earned All-Pro honors in 2016, been selected to the Pro Bowl twice, and clinched three Super Bowl rings during his playing career.
