Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid announced on Friday that the team will not have left tackle Wanya Morris and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi for the AFC Divisional round game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Morris, who suffered a concussion in the Chiefs’ regular-season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers, is still in the process of recovering. Despite being a limited participant in Thursday’s practice, Coach Reid informed reporters on Friday that Morris will be unavailable for Sunday’s game.
Nnadi, dealing with a tricep injury, was absent from all three of the team’s practice sessions this week as he continues his recovery.
Reid also confirmed that wide receiver Skyy Moore will be marked as unavailable for Sunday’s game.
Earlier on Friday, the Bills revealed that wide receiver Gabe Davis, cornerback Christian Benford, linebacker Baylon Spector, and safety Taylor Rapp would be unavailable for the upcoming game. The team intended to release its final injury report following the afternoon practice on Friday.
The Chiefs and Bills are poised for the next installment in their playoff rivalry, scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff on Sunday, January 21 at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo. Chiefs enthusiasts can watch the game on CBS.
